Green Innovation Center Project for the Agro-Food Sector -ProCisa Cameroon Component

With a view to contributing to sustainable development in Cameroon rural through promotion of innovations in the agro-food sector, the German Federal Ministry for Development and Economic Cooperation (BMZ) under the supervision of MINADER and MINEPIA has since initiated ten years ago in Cameroon, the Green Innovation Center Project for the Agro-Food Sector (PROCISA).

This project which essentially focuses on cocoa, potato aims at mobilizing small and medium size enterprises (SMSE) at all levels of the three value chains. Five regions of Cameroon have been selected for the implementation of this project: the Centre and the South-West for Cocoa, the Centre and the West, the North-West and Adamawa for potatoes and traditional poultry farming.

To achieve the desired objectives, GIZ/PROCISA has now contracted with Saint Albert Charity for capacity building and coaching of potato production cooperatives in the West Region of Cameroon.

This contract signed on 05/27/2022, is scheduled to end on 12/31/2022.
